Gregg A Kenyon

d. November 13, 2013

Gregg Allen Kenyon, 59 of La Crosse, died on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at his home. He was born in La Crosse on April 22, 1954 to Ronald and Marian (Olson) Kenyon. He attended grade school in La Crosse and graduated from Westby High School in 1972. He met the love of his life Nancy Wittenberg and they were married on October 28, 1978. Together they had two daughters; Natalie and Stacy. Gregg worked for numerous trucking companies for many years as a semi driver, most recently with Ace Hardware of La Crosse where he had worked for 24 years until he was diagnosed with cancer. Gregg had a great love for classic cars and enjoyed driving and detailing them. He had owned more than 35 throughout his life and loved to talk cars. He enjoyed spending many weekends during the summer months attending car shows with his buddies. He lived a great life and enjoyed every minute of it. He had the best sense of humor and a most contagious laugh. We are very proud of him for the great fight he put up against his cancer. He will be sadly missed by all including his beloved Shih tzu Bailey.

In addition to his wife Nancy of 35 years, Gregg is survived by his daughters Natalie (Tony) Keller, Stacy (Matt) Mahlum, grandchildren Colin and Kendal Mahlum, Norah Keller and another baby girl on the way, his mother Marian, five brothers Arlan (Cherie) Kenyon, Terry Kenyon, Howard Kenyon, Kenny (Jeanette) Kenyon, Brian (Robin) Kenyon, three sisters Maureen (Bob) Wilson, Colleen (Guy) Gjefle, Rochelle (Gerard) Cox, numerous nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in law and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald and maternal and paternal grandparents.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4 until 6 P.M. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services La Crosse chapel at 200 West Ave. So., La Crosse. A brief prayer service will be held at 5:45 P.M.
