Raymond F Antony

Raymond F. Antony, 75, of French Island, passed away in his home on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 27, 1938 in Rockland, Wisconsin to Larry and Frances (Udell) Antony. Raymond was a graduate of Bangor High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1961 on the USS Intrepid. On June 27, 1964 he married Barbara Keily in La Crosse. He worked at Great Lakes Cheese for many years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of Olivet Lutheran Church and very active with the Drakes Club through the church.

He is survived by two sons Jeffory (Ellen) Antony of Forest Lake, MN and Kyle (Derin) Antony of Appleton, WI, three grandchildren Danielle (Brant) Puttkammer of Woodbury, MN, Tyler Bashaw of La Crosse, WI and Emilie Antony of Forest Lake, MN. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Olivet Lutheran Church, 2100 Bainbridge St., La Crosse. Rev. David Baldukas will officiate. Burial will follow in the French Island Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Olivet Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
