Julia M. Julie Misch, 57 of La Crosse, WI, went to heaven on the wings of an angel on Wednesday, February 5,2014. She was born in La Crosse, WI, at St. Annes Hospital to Richard R. and Mary Jean (Archambeau) Hengel on May 29, 1956 and graduated from Central High School in 1974. She was joined in marriage to James S. Misch from which their daughter Megan Marie Misch was born. Julie is survived by her husband James S. Misch, daughter Megan (Tom) & granddaughter Tyleah Marie, step-daughter Janelle (Curt) Edwardson, two sons Alex, Eli Edwardson, step-son Jamie (Becky) Misch, and their children Madison and Jack, her father Richard R. (Erika) Hengel, sisters Pam (Brad) Benrud, Cindy (Ernie) Misch, Peggy (Rich) Schelbe, her brothers Mike Hengel, Matt Hengel, mother in-law Patricia Misch, sisters in-law Shirley (Ron) Harker, Annette Lawrence, many nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles and special family and friends in Rockford, IL. A special thanks to the Sisters & employees of the Villa St. Joseph where Julie was a CNA for fifteen years, and her special friend Georgia Duffy. Megan was her whole life, so proud of her and granddaughter Tyleah Marie. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughter Megan shopping, bumming around, gardening, her cat Chase and dog Marley. She also enjoyed sunny days fishing on the Mississippi with her husband Jim. Julie was preceded in death by her mother Mary Jean Hengel, grandparents Edward and Henrietta Archambeau, and Dorothy and Raymond Hengel, father in law Stanley Misch, and nephew Stevie Misch. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services La Crosse chapel; 200 West Ave. South. Rev. Lawrence B. Berger will officiate. Burial will take place in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call on the family Tuesday morning at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.
