Eugene Colter

Eugene Gene Colter passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. He was born on January 20, 1933 in Superior, WI to James and Laura (Pickle) Colter. He attended catholic schools and then enlisted in the US Marine Corps. After his discharge he married in Kenosha, WI and had five children. In 1973 he married again to the love of his life, Jean, and became a wonderful Dad to her five children. After retiring from his plumbing career Gene and his wife spent 20 years in Waupaca, WI where he had many special buddies. When Gene became ill they moved to Onalaska and spent the last two years at the Onalaska Care Center. Gene was a wonderful guy and thank God for all our wonderful memories. He will be truly missed.

He is survived by his wife Jean, 10 children, 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service for Gene will be held.
