Frances L Hogan

Frances L. Hogan, 88 of La Crescent passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born April 6, 1925 in Dunedin, Florida to Edwin and Frances (Freeman) Rousseau. On December 31, 1943 she married Harold J. Hogan in Clearwater, FL. Frances was proud to have served her family as a mom and homemaker and loved being with them as much as possible. Frances is survived by a son, John (Penny) Hogan of Holmen and a daughter, Barbara (Ron) Meyer of White Bear Lake, MN; six grandchildren; Patrick (Christie) Hogan, Peter (Paula) Hogan, Nathan (Tony) Newhouse, Erin (Eric) Peterson, Seth (Tara) Newhouse and Hillary (David) Healy; eleven great-grandchildren; Anna, Jacob, Sydney, Cody, Willie, Elijah, Milo, Henry, Cecilia, Robert and June; several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold of 65 years on January 18, 2009, her parents and a brother, Edwin Rousseau. We love you so much mom. Its hard to let you go, but you are in a better place and back where you belong-with dad! Love you forever and always. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, February 20th at Faith United Methodist Church (in the former St. Lukes United Methodist Church, 1022 Caledonia St. La Crosse) with Pastor Scott McMurray officiating. Burial will follow in Crucifixion Cemetery, La Crescent. Friends and family may call on Wednesday from 5-7 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 111 S. Oak St. La Crescent; and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church.
