Jonathan A Wateski

d. April 26, 2014

He was born in La Crosse on August 4, 1984, to Tim and Kathy (Erler) Wateski. Jon graduated from Logan High School in 2003. He followed in the Wateski family trade and was employed by D & M Mechanical as a plumber.

Jon loved being a dad and loved his three kids with all his heart. His kids were the apple of his eye and his joy. Jons happiest times were spent building and racing pinewood derby cars and playing video games with Quintin; building Legos and forts with Coltin; and playing with his little princess, Brooklin. Those who knew Jon experienced his witty sense of humor. He was a friend to everyone and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, building campfires in the backyard, bowling, landscaping, gardening, writing poetry, grilling meals and simply having fun with his family and friends. Jon will be most remembered for his quiet demeanor, caring nature, and big heart.

In keeping with Jons loving and generous spirit, his giving continues as an organ and tissue donor. He was able to help up to 100 recipients with his gift of life.

Jon is survived by his three children, Quintin, Coltin, and Brooklin of La Crosse; his parents, Tim and Kathy Wateski of La Crosse; his brother, Tom (Tara) Wateski of La Crosse; his fianc, Kala Hartley of La Crosse; his paternal grandparents, Dick and Mary Wateski of La Crosse; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a niece and a nephew.
