He was born in La Crosse on August 4, 1984, to Tim and Kathy (Erler) Wateski. Jon graduated from Logan High School in 2003. He followed in the Wateski family trade and was employed by D & M Mechanical as a plumber.
Jon loved being a dad and loved his three kids with all his heart. His kids were the apple of his eye and his joy. Jons happiest times were spent building and racing pinewood derby cars and playing video games with Quintin; building Legos and forts with Coltin; and playing with his little princess, Brooklin. Those who knew Jon experienced his witty sense of humor. He was a friend to everyone and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, building campfires in the backyard, bowling, landscaping, gardening, writing poetry, grilling meals and simply having fun with his family and friends. Jon will be most remembered for his quiet demeanor, caring nature, and big heart.
