Ann Elizabeth Clark

d. June 4, 2014

Ann was born May of 1961, to Donald and Betty Zischke in La Crosse, Wis. She attended La Crosse public schools and graduated from Central High School Class of 1979. She graduated with a degree in marketing from Western Technical School in 1981. Ann was employed by NSP and Xcel Energy for over 27 years.

She married Jeff Clark on February 23, 1991, recently celebrating their 23rd anniversary. Together they have two beautiful daughters, Kaylee and Kristine. They were the pride and joy of her life.

Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Ann loved beaches and the ocean, especially Jamaica. Ann also enjoyed time on the river and all the local festivals that La Crosse offers. One of her favorite things to do was shopping; she loved spending time in the "Mall area. Her work at Xcel Energy was more than a job to her because of her co-workers; they were a big part of her life.

Ann is survived by her husband, Jeff, and daughters, Kaylee and Kristine, of La Crosse; mother, Betty Zischke of La Crosse; sisters, Pam Chenier of La Crosse and Lisa (Steve) Jorgenson of Rochester, Minn.; mother and father-in-law Kathi and Jerry Clark of Mountain Home, Ark.; sisters-in-law, Lori (Bob) Hinrichsen of St Cloud, Minn., Linda (Terry) Clark of Carver, Minn., and Sandi Zischke of Moline, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Zischke, and her brother, Steven Zischke.

Jeff, Kaylee and Kristine wish to express our heartfelt "thanks" to the entire Oncology department at Franciscan Healthcare-La Crosse and also to Dr. Jacob Strand from Mayo Healthcare Rochester. Your care and compassion was truly a bright spot in our darkest time.

Heaven got a good one today.
