Francine M. Reibel, 63, of Trempealeau, WI passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in her home. She was born on October 26, 1950 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Everett and Frances (Balzar) Ashland. She graduated from Aquinas High School. On June 21, 1974 she married William Bill Reibel. Fran designed their new home which they built in Trempealeau and moved into in 2012. They worked hard on the project together and were happy to have completed it. The family enjoyed gathering there. Fran enjoyed fishing and boating on the Mississippi River, gardening, landscaping and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Bill of Trempealeau, children Bill B.J. (Kim) Reibel of Holmen, Tonia (Todd) Wright of Holmen, DeAnne (Randy) Otto of West Salem and Mike (Bridget) Reibel of Byron, IL, grandchildren Jessica Reibel, Carly Otto and Maria Otto all of West Salem, Ben Reibel of Byron, IL, Calvin Wright, Clara Wright, Kelsie Reibel, Lynsie Reibel, Marsie Reibel and Cassie Reibel all of Holmen, along with a great grandson on the way. She is further survived by a sister Bernadette (Clarence) Dyreson of Rochester, MN brothers Gregory Butch (Cindy) Ashland of West Salem, WI and Everett Jack (Kathy) Ashland La Crosse, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Suzanne Berg. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Holmen Lutheran Church, 228 Morris St., Holmen. Pastor Matt Toso will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to MCHS Hospice Program.
