Dorothy L. Taylor, 93 of La Crosse passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the Bethany-St. Joseph Care Center. She was born August 28, 1920 in La Crosse to William and Julia (Konetchy) Bartovick. On November 3, 1938 she married Ray F. Taylor and he preceded her in death on September 21, 1979. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carol (Edward) Tunks, Jr. of Holmen, WI; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Miller of West Salem, WI and June Barnes of Portland, OR; a brother-in-law, Frank (Beverly) Taylor of La Crosse; along with several nieces and nephews. Dorothy and Carol began as mother and daughter, then somewhere along the way became friends. In accordance to Dorothys wishes, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 8th at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ted Dewald officiating.
